DDG (Fy), ICAR inaugurated ‘Matsyalok Guest House’ by at ICAR-CIFRI, Prayagraj
Dr. Joy krushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, has inaugurated a five rooms guest house of Regional centre of ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute at Prayagraj on 15 November 2021. Dr. Basant Kumar Das, the director, ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore was also present on the occasion. The inaugurated guest house has been named as ‘Mastyalok’ to serve the people engaged in fisheries sector. The DDG (FY) addressed the scientists and staffs of the centre and motivated & inspired for the better research for the development of the fishery and fishermen. He also suggested for helpful and affectionate service to people coming to the centre. The Director of the institute also encouraged and guided the scientists for doing hard research work so that the more and more people will come to institute for up to date information related to fishery sector. The event was also witnessed by Dr Archan Kanti Das, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore. He also stimulated the centre personnel for doing more work for the society. Dr Dharm Nath Jha, Scientist in charge of the centre welcomed all the august dignitaries to the centre and briefed about the activities of the centre. Scientists of the Centre viz. Dr Absar Alam, Dr Venkatesh, Mr Jeetendra Kumar, Mr Shravan Kumar Sharma were also present on the occasion along with other staffs of the centre.
