ICAR-CIFRI has prepared a beautiful collage of the thirty six photographs and has also felicitated six young achievers of extended CIFRI family. The day has been created by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to raise awareness of the importance of girl child. This is an initiative to eliminate gender-based discrimination in society and to bring about a change in behaviour towards girls in this male-preferred world.
