CIFRI Awards
ICAR-CIFRI signed Memorandum of Understanding with Hemnagar Sundarban Dream, a leading NGO and
community based social development organisation with society registration no. S/1L/89325 involved in the area of agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and fish farming and imparting training to farmers and unemployed youth in West Bengal and Sikkim on 26 July 2022 at ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore.
CIFRI will implement Project objectives like TSP/STC, SCSP, Demonstration, Livelihood, Training & Extension Activities, Awareness Campaign, Scientist-Farmer Interaction, Swachha Bharat Abhiyan, Mera Gaon Mera Gourav etc., in collaboration with the Hemnagar Sundarban Dream during the period from July 2022 to 2025 in different district areas of West Bengal.
The Institute will help in capacity building of Hemnagar Sundarban Dream trainers and progressive farmers on fisheries related activities through providing training, exposures in the operational areas of West Bengal.
