On both occasions, Dr. Dharm Nath Jha, in charge of the Centre, ICAR-CIFRI, Prayagraj informed the audience about the NAMAMI Gange Project and the work of the institute to restore and conserve fish diversity. The chief guests, explained the importance of the river Ganga, river ranching, and fish of the river and also how to conserve it for the future. Sri Rajesh Sharma briefed the audience about the importance of the NAMAMI Gange program for the Ganga River.
