Interactive meeting of ICAR-CIFRI team with NABARD officials

Scientists of ICAR-CIFRI Regional Centre, Guwahati participated in an interactive meeting with officials of NABARD at NABARD Regional Office, Guwahati on 27th May, 2024. Dr. S.K. Majhi, Head, Dr. S.C.S. Das, Senior Scientist and Dr. Simanku Borah, Scientist from ICAR-CIFRI and Shri Loken Das, CGM, NABARD, Assam Regional Office, Guwahati, Shri Nabin Kumar Roy, GM, NABARD along with their team participated in the interactive meeting. A host of issues including possible collaboration between NABARD and ICAR-CIFRI for the development of fisheries sector in North-East India was discussed in the meeting. It was decided in the meeting to focus on skill development of fish farmers and fishers of the region by conducting trainings with active involvement of both the organizations.
