Palanisamy, General Manager (Fisheries), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Bangalore, visited Research Centre of ICAR-CIFRI at Bangalore on 07.09.2019. Dr. Basheer, Officer-in-charge, ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Kochi Centre, Dr. P. K. Asokan, Scientist-in-charge, Calicut Research Centre of ICAR-CMFRI, Dr. Prathibha Rohit, SIC, Mangalore Research Centre of ICAR-CMFRI and Dr. P. P. Manoj Kumar, SIC, Tuticorin Research Centre of ICAR-CMFRI also accompanied the team. An interactive meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. J. K. Jena, who motivated the Scientists and put forward different research areas to collaborate with various fisheries institutes under ICAR and the Directors of ICAR institutes extended their support. The team visited the laboratories of the centre.
